You Can Run, But You Can’t Hide – 21 July 2013

Tim McGill, a supported missionary serving with Athletes In Action on the Penn State Campus, begins a three week series within the book of Jonah. He warns us to be careful to the degree that we allow disobedience and rebellion in our lives, as we will establish a downward spiral like a whirlpool and will eventually bring other’s down with us. After reading this first chapter in Jonah, Pastor Tim asks us: “So what?” and encourages us to ask God two things: 1. Who is the “Nineveh” in our own lives? 2.Where am I trying to escape God’s orders? He encourages us to pray for a heart of compassion and to follow Him when he asks us to go to our personal Nineveh.
