PASTOR

Matt Mitchell by schenleypilgramphotography.comMatt Mitchell has been shepherding LEFC since 1998. He is a native of north-central Ohio and a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and the Westminster Theological Seminary. He graduated from WTS in 2012 with his Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling.

Pastor Matt's passion is glorifying God by bringing people in to a love relationship with Jesus Christ through preaching the Word of God, shepherding the flock of God, and equipping the saints of God to do the work of the ministry.

Pastor Matt is the author of Resisting Gossip: Winning the War of the Wagging Tongue (CLC Publications, 2013).

Pastor Matt and his wife Heather (also a graduate of MBI) love to hike in Pennsylvania State Parks, read good books, and play with their four children: Robin, Andrew, Peter, and Isaac.

Our Lanse Free elders serve as the main leadership team for the church. They are responsible for shepherding the flock, prayerfully overseeing the ministry, and setting a godly example for the church family. Our current elder board consists of:
