Church Family News
Communion Sunday
Today we will be passing communion plates for those partaking in the auditorium. There are pre-packaged communion elements for anyone, inside or outside, who would prefer to use them as we worship together at the Lord’s Table. We have a gluten free option for those with special dietary needs.
Deaconess Team Meeting
There will be a short deaconess team meeting today after service. Please see Renee Mostyn if you have any questions.
Egg Hunt
The Egg Hunt is this Saturday, April 19th. The hunt is at 10:00am with registration beginning at 9:30am. Check out the volunteer sign up in the foyer to help fill existing needs. Please see Jordyn Skacel if you have any questions!
Resurrection Sunday Refreshments
To begin our Resurrection Sunday morning celebration, join us for coffee and pastries before the service! Coffee, tea, juice and various delicious muffins and breads will be served.
Kids Bible Class Meeting
There will be a brief meeting in the sanctuary for all KBC staff and helpers on Sunday, April 27th immediately following the service. Please see Vicky Albert for any questions.
Mom’s Night Out
Moms with children in the home and those who are currently expecting are invited to Mom’s Night Out on May 16th at 6:00pm here at the church! Mark your calendars now to join us for a fun evening out of the house enjoying conversation, activities, and plenty of snacks & desserts! Invite your fellow mom friends to come with you as well. Registration information is on the table in the foyer. See Jordyn Skacel for more information.
PRC Banquet
You are invited to join PRC for their Annual Fundraising Banquet on Tuesday, May 13th at the Bryce Jordan Center. Keith & Heather Hurley will be our table hosts. There is no cost to attend this event. A reservation is required for each person planning to attend. The deadline to RSVP is April 25th. You can register online at scprc.com.
Mailbox Update
All mailboxes in the foyer were updated and yours is most likely in a new spot. Due to all the new members and the increase in attendance, we needed to add and/or combine some mailboxes. If your mailbox was missed or you would like one, please let Jenni know.

West Branch Ministerium Scholarship
The H. Lee Hebel Memorial Scholarship is an annual scholarship given to a high school graduate or those pursuing a second career, and will, in the next 9 months, be enrolled in college, seminary, or Bible school. They should be pursuing full time Christian service, including pastoral ministry, counseling, youth ministry, or teaching in a Christian school. Applications should be postmarked by May 1st and can be found in the foyer on the Community Bulletin Board.
Growing Together
Youth Group
The youth group meets on Sunday evenings from 7:00-9:00pm. All students in grades 7 and up are invited to come for games, snacks, and fun while studying the book of Acts in our Bibles together. See Cody & Holly Crumrine for more information.
Snack and Yack
Directly after service, kids in grades 3-7 who heard the sermon are invited to meet in Pastor Matt’s office for a snack and a brief interactive conversation about today’s message. To help listen closely, kids can fill out a “Snack n’ Yack Notes” handout that are in the foyer. Parents are always welcome to join in, too! Leading this week is Abe & Jordyn Skacel.
Ladies’ Fellowship Hour
Ladies, join us on Wednesday mornings at 10:30am for a time of fellowship with one another, praying for one another and missionaries, and reading Scripture. All ladies are invited to attend.
Join Us at Prayer Meeting
Wednesdays at 7:00pm, a group of Christians meet to pray and to study God’s Word in the Prayer Room. We are going through a study of the book of Numbers. Nobody is put on the spot to pray out loud, but all are encouraged to attend and help lift up the needs of our church, community, nation, and world.
Community Group
There is NO community group this week, Sunday, April 13th or next week, Sunday, April 20th. Community Group will resume on Sunday, April 27th.
Explore the Bible at Home
Many adults in our church are utilizing the Explore the Bible resources to dig deeper into God’s Word. Pick up your free copy of 1, 2 Peter & Jude and join as we study this week with Session 7: Our Faith. The Spring resources are available in the foyer.
This Week in Kids Bible Class
God Is Gracious. Today, the Little Learners and Bible Explorers will be studying Judges 4-5 learning about Deborah Led Israel. Resources for family worship centered on this lesson are available through the link you will receive in “The Family Table” email arriving this afternoon. For more information about this week’s lesson, check out The Gospel Project Big Picture Card for Volume 3, Unit 8, Session 2 which your family received in your mailbox.

Lanse Free Fridge
Our community fridge and pantry is open 24/7. Contributions may include fresh or frozen foods, dairy products, canned or dried goods, cereals, or prepared foods. Anyone is welcome to donate or rehome food.

Giving Opportunities
Designated giving funds are open for the deaconess compassion fund to help those in need within our church family, summer camp to pay for registration fees, and a future pavilion for the Ark Park here at the church. Please mark your gifts and drop them in the offering plate.
