Pastor Matt’s Vacation

Pastor Matt will be on vacation August 1st – August 15th. If you need any assistance while he is away, please contact any of our elders (Keith Folmar, Joel Michaels, Cody Crumrine, or Abe Skacel).

GOOD NEWS CRUISE

We are looking for a bunch of people willing to work just a few hours helping us spread the GOOD NEWS! Here are some ways you can help.

Door Prize Donations – We hope to send many guests home with a special prize. Are you able to donate some car care items to be used as door prizes? Pick them up and have them to the church by August 19th at 4pm. No time to shop? Drop a donation into the offering plate. Mark it “door prize” and we will pick up items for you.

Or sign-up for any of the following:

Sweet Treats – Need volunteers to bake cookies. Please have them here no later than noon on August 20th.

Kitchen Help – Help is needed to set up and clean up the kitchen and serving area, serve food, or assist those serving with any needs and get needed supplies.

Welcome and Registration – Work in the registration tent to welcome and gather name, address, and vehicle info for exhibitors. Assist with registration forms and fill out window cards.

Parking Assistance and Trraffic Control – Direct exhibitors to photo area and to permanent parking spots. Also need individuals to assist with spectator parking and directions.

Roaming Greeters – Roving attendees that will interact with exhibitors and spectators. Greet exhibitors and thank them for attending. Open converstations, create relationships, offer invitations to LEFC or a quick prayer.

Setup and Tear Down – We need people to help setup our campus before the car show and tear down after.

Sign-up sheets are in the foyer on the bulletin board.

WILLING BUT WORRIED: How To Tell Others About Jesus Like You’ve Always Wanted To With Abe & Jordyn Skacel

August 7th        August 14th            August 21st

8:45am-9:45am – Fellowship Hall

We know that Christians should be telling others the Good News about Jesus, but how? What does it look like? How do I bring it up? How do I bridge the awkwardness? What if they ask a question I don’t know the answer to? This special “pop-up” class will address these questions and more. Join us for 3 weeks of practical, interactive training on not just the “why” of everyday evangelism but also the “how”.

*Classes build on one another but are designed so that you can take part in any class you can attend.

Childcare

  • Childcare can be provided.
  • Sign-up for childcare TODAY by filling out the online form in the Lanse Link or on the small bulletin board in the foyer

Childcare Help

Interested in helping with childcare for future pop-up educational classes? We are looking for volunteers to help with this ministry. Adults must be able to obtain clearances. Questions? See Pastor Matt.

Ark Park Meet n’ Play

Moms and their littles are invited each Wednesday for a time to play outside and have fun together! We’ll meet at the Ark Park at 9:00am or come and go as you please. The church building will be open for restrooms and water, and juice boxes will be provided. Event is cancelled in the event of rain.

Children’s Church

Interested in helping with children’s church? We are looking for one more regular classroom helper or two to three more occasional substitutes. See Pastor Matt for more details.
