Volunteer Needed for Outdoor Floral Display
For Resurrection Sunday this year, we’d like to set up a floral display outside to celebrate the resurrection and provide a place for families to take a picture together after the worship gathering. If you have ideas for creating that display, see Pastor Matt.
Today’s Guest Preacher
Kim & Jan Cone, our missionaries helping with Bible translations for the people in Central Africa Republic, are here visiting us this weekend. Be sure to greet them and ask questions about their work after today’s service.
Follow the Lord in Water Baptism
We are planning for more baptisms again soon. If you would like to learn more about what it means to follow Christ in water baptism, talk to Pastor Matt for options that fit your schedule. Classes will be set up to meet your scheduling needs.
Red Cross Blood Drive
The Red Cross continues to experience the worst blood shortage in over a decade. On Tuesday, March 29, our church will host the Morrisdale Community Blood Drive from 1:00-6:30pm to try and help alleviate this shortage. If you are eligible to donate, consider making an appointment. We are also looking for people willing to work in the canteen. We will happily accept donations of some pre-packaged baked goods to use in our drive as well. Questions? See Marilynn Kristofits.
Have you been thinking about how you might be able as a family or an individual to have fellowship with other people from our church and at the same time provide a service to the church? These opportunities may be for you! Cemetery Clean Up Day Join the Facilities Team as they clean up the church cemetery at 1:00pm on April 6. Bring your rakes and leaf blowers. Come and go as you need. Workday At the Church On Saturday, May 7, our Facilities Team will be sprucing up our church grounds. They will clean up the leaves, plant some grass, and repair any damage to the ground from the plowing. Bring your rakes and leaf blowers at 9:00am and lend a hand!
Cemetery Care Bids
The Facilities Team is now accepting bids for cemetery mowing this Summer. Mowing will begin as soon as the grass needs its first trim and will conclude in mid to late fall depending on the weather. You are responsible to provide your own gas and equipment. If you have any questions or to submit your bid, please see George Leathers or any other facilities team member (Bryan Sones, Todd Dobo, Jim Beveridge, Don Carlson, or Keith Hurley) by April 10.
Now that Misty Michaels is taking over as administrative assistant, we will once again have weekly office hours. The church office will be open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 9:00-3:00.

Designated Giving – ReachGlobal
With Ukraine in crisis due to the brutal conflict unfolding in this eastern European country, ReachGlobal is mobilizing to support the refugees displaced as they flee the conflict. We have opened a designated giving fund here at church to partner with their efforts. Prayerfully consider a gift to help our brothers and sisters as they minister to those in need. Mark your gift “Ukraine” and drop it in the offering plate.
Are you attending the PRC Banquet on Tuesday, April 5? A reservation is required for each person planning to attend. Please RSVP by Tuesday. Find out more information and register online at scprc.com. There is no cost to attend this event; however, an opportunity to make a financial investment will be extended during the evening.
