Celebration Sunday Help Needed

Set-Up Crew: Come at 8:30 on Sunday morning and assist as we set things up for our Celebration Service out in the field. See Pastor Matt today to find out all that is needed. Greeting Team: We need as many of you as possible to help everyone feel welcome and make sure they have worship materials. Be here at 9:15. Clean-Up Crew: Many hands make light work. Stick around after our service and help tear down the tables, chairs, and sound equipment. Thanks!

LEFC Book Club

We are reading Dane Ortlund’s book, Gentle and Lowly: The Heart of Christ for Sinners and Sufferers together as a church. Every family has been provided one copy in their mailbox. Be sure to pick yours up today. Don’t have a mailbox? There are extra copies in the foyer. Are you interested in leading a small group in discussion in your home, at the church, or online? See Pastor Matt for helpful extra resources today!

Mailbox Shifts

The mailboxes in the foyer have been updated and shifted based on our current attendance. Some boxes have been consolidated to make room for all of our new families. Pastor Matt at Missional Summit

Pastor Matt will be out of the office Monday through Thursday to attend the EFCA Missional Summit. If you need anything this week, please contact one of the elders.

Explore the Bible at Home

Many adults in our church are utilizing the Explore the Bible resources to dig deeper into God’s word using Explore the Bible: Philippians; Colossians; Philemon. Pick up your free copy today and complete Session 3: Joy Through Humility this week.

College Address & Directory Update

Jessica Milliron’s address was incorrectly listed. Please update her address to SMB# 148. There are updated sheets in the foyer listing all of our college students addresses and birthdays. John Walter has a new cell phone number is 814.380.1380. Please update his listing and correct the Walters’ wedding anniversary to September 22^nd.

Missionary Christmas in September

Each year we collect a special offering aimed to bless the missionaries we support and give them some extra money to use in whatever way they like. There are envelopes in the foyer on the resources tables or you can place it in the offering plate marked “Christmas.” Donations will be accepted for the next two weeks.

Membership Seminar

Are you interested in learning what it means to be a member at LEFC? Pastor Matt has scheduled a membership seminar for October 30^th to talk with folks who want to go deeper into living out Romans 12. Talk with Pastor Matt today about taking part.

See You at the Pole

All are invited to join West Branch’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes for a time of prayer at the school’s flagpole. Students will meet from 7:00-7:25 on Wednesday, September 22^nd. Adults, please park at Gethsemane, walk to the flagpole, and join the kids as they pray for their school.
