Canceling LEFC Worship Gathering for Sunday January 25, 2026

Due to the winter storm warning for our region this weekend, we are canceling this Sunday’s gathering for worship. The National Weather Service predicts heavy snow, frigid temperatures, and dangerous travel conditions. The governor has declared an emergency. We think it would be unsafe and unwise for us to meet. All in-person meetings on campus (Evening Adult Class, etc.) are canceled, as well. Please pass the word to your friends.

If you are able, take some time as a family to sing, pray, and read God’s Word, reminding each other of the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We will also be sending out a brief guide to worship at home that might help our families to keep our eyes on Jesus while we all wait out the storm.

Please be praying for those who must be out in the bad weather, especially those assisting people in emergency situations.

We also encourage everyone to check on neighbors, friends, and family members and offer help as you are able.
