LEFC Guide to Worship – June 14, 2020

“This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it!” (Psalm 118:24).
As Christians, we have so many reasons to rejoice. First and foremost, we are loved by God and saved through faith in Jesus Christ. There is no greater thing than knowing Him! I am rejoicing that some of us got to worship in person on campus last Sunday. It was terrific to see some of you that I haven’t laid eyes on for the last three months. LEFC Guide to Worship – June 7, 2020 Graduation Sunday

Eleven Sundays… The last time we gathered together in-person for worship on our church campus was March 15, 2020. For the last eleven Sundays, the church has not stopped being the church. In fact, the scope of our outreach may have even grown some as many people have accessed our online resources.

LEFC Guide to Worship – May 31, 2020 Pentecost Sunday

Ephesians 5:18-19 closely ties together being filled with the Holy Spirit and making music in your heart to the Lord through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. There are many good songs to sing about the Holy Spirit.

Sadly, we are not, and it currently seems that we may be in for a longer wait until it is wise and loving to gather in large groups once again. The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away. May the name of the Lord be praised.
