God in a Box – 22 September 2013

Our current sermon series is called “A Heart for the Heart of God: the Message of 1 Samuel,” and we’ve learned a little bit about what it means to have a heart for the heart of God: Having a prayerful heart, an honoring heart, and a listening heart. We have seen that God has said He will not only honor those who honor Him, but also that those who despise Him, He will disdain. Pastor Matt pulls two very important lessons from today’s text: God will not be used, and God will do what he says.
