Jesus and the First 2/3 of the Bible – 8 April 2018

Our sermon series is called, “Following Jesus” because that’s what we’re learning to do in the Gospel of Matthew. Matthew is a theological biography of the most compelling Person in history–the Person of Jesus Christ. And Jesus Christ has called us to follow Him and fish for more followers.

Jesus said, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.” So we’re learning to follow Him in the Gospel of Matthew. This week we transition from the introduction to Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount and look at what Jesus thought of the Old Testament. We es that Jesus came to fulfill the entire Old Testament. He demands a greater righteousness from us.
