Why Work? – 20 September 2015

We have started a new sermon series this fall in which we’re learning together that God cares about our jobs, that God cares how we do our jobs, and that God empowers us to do our jobs for Him. We are working for the Lord. We are learning that we all do that. Even if we are retired from our careers or are currently unemployed or are disabled and unable to do work for pay or even if we are a second, third, or fourth grader. We all have a job to do. We are all to be working for the Lord. Pastor Matt tackles the question of why this week. Why work? Not to be saved or bring glory to ourselves, but because we are saved and bring glory to God while serving others.
