They Will Call Him Immanuel – 21 December 2014

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, we pause from our study of Romans to focus on the coming of our Messiah. Our advent readings have been focusing on Immanuel – God with us. This week we spent time focusing on the two names of our Savior: Jesus and Immanuel. Jesus means God saves his people. So we need to trust Jesus to save us from our sins. And we also need to Thank Jesus for saving us from our sins. Immanuel means God is with his people. So we need to live like God is truly with us! This Christmas, tell others about Jesus, our Immanuel.
