The Gospel Project at Home

Today’s Bible Study is “Elijah Performed Miracles” (Volume 5: Unit 13: Session 4). Ask your kids what they learned in children’s church this morning and/or do the family devotional you can find at this link.

Snack and Yack

Snack and Yack will continue throughout Pastor Matt’s sabbatical. When the auditorium empties after worship, girls and boys (grades 3-7) who listened to the sermon (remember to fill out a handout!) are invited to Pastor Matt’s office for a tasty treat and a brief discussion with one of the LEFC elders (and sometimes guest preachers?!) about the message. Parents, if you would like to help host the discussion by providing the snack, see Holly Crumrine to get involved.

Family Bible Week will start on July 10th this summer! Make sure to mark your calendar, arrange your work schedule, and schedule your vacation with it in mind.  See Holly Crumrine to find out about this year’s theme and get involved in the advanced planning.

And for Dessert…

A few weeks ago, you’ll remember we recommended the Knowing Faith podcast for adults. We’d also like to present a podcast for your littles called God’s Big Story podcast, available on Spotify, Apple, or any other podcast platform. Our boys like to listen when they’re playing with their Lego bricks, but it’s also a good one to listen to together in the car. This is season 7, and they’re covering common church ideas such as baptism, communion, sermons, and ministers. The Village Church is the original publisher of both Knowing Faith and God’s Big Story, and their aim is to equip the saints with knowledge and understanding of their faith – an aim we can all say amen to.
