Church Family News

  • New Directory: Our new directory is out! Thank you everyone for looking over the information and submitting changes. With the new directory come mailbox changes, so please pay attention to the name next to the box as your box probably moved.

  • Good News Cruise Kitchen Help: There is a lot of preparation to be done beforehand in the kitchen for Good News Cruise. The signup sheet stated to be here by 2:30pm, but if you can come earlier than that to help out, it would be greatly appreciated.

  • Fort Myers Team Giving: Our team is asking for a little bit of help to cover rooms to and from Florida and other transportation costs, and we only need about $250 more to cover those expenses! Any funds raised in excess will be donated to Crisis Response. To support the team, mark your donation “Ft. Myers team”. Questions? See Bobbi Kyler.

  • Free Fridge Magnets: Ever find yourself throwing out food before remembering that it could have been donated to the Lanse Free Fridge? We now have Free Fridge magnets with our name, address, and logo on the welcome tables in the foyer! Take a small round magnet for your home refrigerator to help keep our neighbors in mind.

  • Youth & Jr. Youth Fall Kickoff: Our Youth Group and brand-new Jr. Youth Group will be starting September 13th. Junior Youth will be for grades 4–6, and Youth Group for grades 7–12.

Growing Together

  • Adult Class Sundays @ 6:30pm — Meets in the Fellowship Hall. Currently continuing through the book of Joshua. For more information, see Keith Hurley.

  • Ladies’ Fellowship Hour Wednesdays @ 10:30am — Join us for a time of fellowship, praying for one another and missionaries, and reading Scripture.

  • Prayer Meeting Wednesdays @ 7:00pm — Meets in the Prayer Room to pray and study God’s Word (currently studying Judges). Nobody is put on the spot to pray out loud, and all are encouraged to attend.

  • Explore the Bible at Home: Many adults in our church are utilizing the Explore the Bible resources to dig deeper into God’s Word. Pick up your free copy of Joshua; Judges; Ruth in the foyer and join us as we study Session 10: Trust.

  • This Week in Kids Bible Class: Today, the Little Learners and Bible Explorers will study Luke 7 (Jesus Raised a Widow’s Son). Resources for family worship arrive in “The Family Table” email this afternoon. Check your child’s Gospel Project Big Picture Card sent home today. Questions or need access?   • Junior Youth Group (Grades 4–6) Sundays @ 6:30pm (Starts Sept 13) — Kicking off on Sunday, September 13th. See Curtis Quick or Marilynn Kristofits for questions.

  • Youth Group (Grades 7–12) Sundays @ 6:30pm (Resumes Sept 13) — Currently on summer break and resuming September 13th. For more information, see Cody & Holly Crumrine.
