O Absalom, My Son, My Son! – 15 June 2014

We pick up where we left off last week in the story of Absalom’s conspiracy. This week’s story is a profoundly sad story from a father’s perspective. But we have to remember that the Bible is a revelation of who God is and what God is up to in our world. The Bible is all about Him. This week’s story shows us that Because our Heavenly Father is Sovereign: He Can Always Keep His Promises, He Can Answer Any Prayer, He Is At Work Even When We Can’t See Him, and He Can Deliver His People From Their Enemies.
