Lanse Evangelical Free Church
From the Pastor
Dear Church Family,
The theme of our worship this weekend is “BLESSED.”
We are a blessed people:
- Blessed to live in a country with so many freedoms secured by so many sacrifices.
- Blessed to have terrific graduates to celebrate as they reach their big milestone.
- Blessed to have so many wonderful servants to prepare a special outdoor worship time and offer children’s ministry in the “Sonshine Tent.”
- Blessed to be coming closer together as a church family with two new worship times starting next weekend, with resuming ministries that had been paused, and with the prospect of the state mask mandate being lifted for all no later than June 28th.
- Blessed to have made it through a difficult year together even when we’ve had to keep our distance from one another.
- Blessed to have many opportunities to be a blessing to others this upcoming summer.
And the greatest blessing we have is being saved by the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the Cross for us and the power of His glorious resurrection.
Let’s make sure that every blessed person in this blessed church family brings glory to Him!
In His Grip,
– Pastor Matt
P.S. We are so blessed that we have 10,000 reasons for our hearts to sing. “Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!” (Psalm 32:11).
