2025 Short Term Mission Trip – Meeting
There will be a brief meeting about the Missions Team that will be going to Hazard, KY the week of July 20^th, 2025. We will be working alongside Reach Global Crisis Response. Please let Curtis Quick or Jenni English know by today if you are interested in going.

Take A Shell And Pray For FBW
Breaker Rock Beach Family Bible Week starts tomorrow! There are shells located at the back of the auditorium, please take one and pray for a successful FBW!

Family Bible Week Food Team
Volunteers for prepping food for FBW, please be at the church by 4:00pm the first night, times may be adjusted after that. Servers, etc be there by 5:00pm. All donated items (chips, macaroni, milk, beans, etc.) MUST be at the church NO LATER THAN 4:00pm on Monday.  Cookies can be turned in by Sunday afternoon or by 4:00pm on Monday or Tuesday. Cooked items: Taco meat by 5:30 Tuesday, Spaghetti by early Thursday afternoon or the day before. Any Questions, contact Linda Carlson at (814) 592-7975.

Adult and Parent Classes at Family Bible Week
We will offer two classes for adults at Family Bible Week this year.  The FBW Adult Class will be studying the attributes of God. Pastor Matt says, “Come and found out what it means when Scripture says, ‘There is no rock like our God!’ and talk about how that helps us live our lives today.” Abe Skacel says, “In the FBW Parents Class, we will be exploring the spiritual foundations and purpose of family and how to integrate discipleship in the home with our kids.”

Ark Park Pavilion
We are beginning to solicit bids from contractors who are interested in building the Ark Park Pavilion. See George Leathers for details.

Interested in a Spikes Game?
LEFC is headed to the State College Spikes on Saturday, August 24^th! If you would like to attend, please sign up on the sheet out in the foyer with how many tickets you would like. Tickets will be $11 each. Game time is 6:35pm. Deadline is August 4th to sign up. Please see Bonnie Dobash or Jenni English if you have any questions.

Snack and Yack
When the auditorium empties after worship, young people in grades 3-7 who heard the sermon are invited to meet in Pastor Matt’s office for a snack and a brief interactive conversation about today’s message. To help kids listen closely, they can fill out a “Snack n’ Yack Notes” handouts that are in the foyer. Parents are always welcome to join in, too! Leading this week is Keith & Heather Hurley.

Ladies’ Fellowship Hour
There will be NO Ladies’ Fellowship Hour this week due to Family Bible Week. It will resume on July 31^st at 10:30am.

Join Us at Prayer Meeting
There will be NO Prayer Meeting this week due to Family Bible Week. It will resume on July 31^st at 7:00pm.

Community Group
The community group meets Sunday evenings at 7:00pm in the Skacel home for fellowship and Bible study. People of all ages are welcome (including kids!). See Abe or Jordyn Skacel if you want to check it out!

Explore the Bible at Home
Many adults in our church are utilizing the Explore the Bible resources to dig deeper into God’s Word. Pick up your free copy of Acts 1-12 and join as we study this week with Session 8: Serving. The Summer quarter resources are available in the foyer.

This Week in Kids Bible Class
Why should we praise Jesus? We should praise Jesus for what He has done to provide for our salvation and because He will one day make all things right. Today, the Little Learners and Bible Explorers will be studying Acts 27-28 learning about how Paul Went to Rome. Resources for family worship centered on this lesson are available through the link you will receive in “The Family Table” email arriving this afternoon. For more information about this week’s lesson, check out The Gospel Project Big Picture Card for Volume 12, Unit 35, Session 4 which your family received in your mailbox.
