Father, Glorify Your Name! – May 5, 2024

The crowd has been waving palm branches over Him and shouting, “Blessed is the King of Israel!” And He’s not stopped them. He’s received their worship and their faith in His messiahship, His kingship. And the Jewish leaders are frustrated that the whole wide world seems to be coming to follow Him. For example, even some Greeks at the Passover Feast request an audience with Him, saying to Phillip, “We would like to see Jesus.” Everything seems to be leading up to a climax. And it was at that point that Jesus announced to the crowd, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.”
