Wild Game Dinner – Planning Meeting Today

The 2024 Wild Game Dinner will be Saturday, March 16^th at the Morris Township Recreational Center. Abe Skacel is assembling a team to provide this outreach event to our community. There will be a brief meeting today in the auditorium after worship to get the planning underway. See Abe for further information.

Undeck the Halls

Many hands make light work. Please join us on Wednesday at 5:30pm as we will take down the decorations from the Christmas season. See Maria Jackson with questions.

Poinsettias

If you purchased a poinsettia to help decorate our sanctuary, thank you!  Please take it home with you today and enjoy it into the new year.

Community Group

The community group will resume meeting together on January 21^st at 7pm in the Skacel home. See Abe or Jordyn Skacel for more information.

New Leaders in Family Ministries

Holly Crumrine, Jordyn Skacel, and Vicky Albert have begun serving as the Interim Family Ministries Leadership Team while we continue our search for a part-time Director of Family Ministry. If you have questions, ideas, or concerns about ministry to children, youth, and parents, please see one of them.

Save The Date – Stay Sharp

Our annual Stay Sharp theology conference will be held February 26-27 at Waterdam Church. The theme this year is “Always Making Disciples.” For more information, pick up a flyer in the foyer, and see Pastor Matt.

Tax Receipts

If you need a tax receipt for your giving in 2023 and have not gotten one in previous years, please let Anita Allen know so that she can prepare one for you.

Annual Reports

Attention all ministry leaders: It is time once again to prepare for our Annual Reports and Vision Meeting to be held on January 28^th. Please turn in your review of 2023 and vision for 2024 to Jenni English by Friday, January 19^th. Thank you for serving our church in 2023!

Attendance Volunteers

Jenni is still looking for a few more volunteers to help with weekly attendance. It’s super easy, and there will be help available if you need it!

Read Your Bible in 2024

Get ready to read through your Bible this year! There are two different reading plans for free in the foyer. Grab one to take home with you today. They are bright orange!

Snow Removal Signup

Our Facilities Team is looking for a few individuals to help maintain our walkways during the winter months. Are you able to help with removing snow and salting the sidewalks Sunday mornings here at the church this winter? Sign up in the foyer. Questions? See George Leathers.

Recycled Cards for Charity

Please save the fronts of your recycled cards (except for Hallmark, American Greetings and Disney which are unable to be accepted due to copyright laws). New cards (any occasion) with or without envelopes are also being accepted. There will be a box in the foyer labeled “Recycled Cards.” These recycled cards are part of a program to provide teens with life and work skills. For more information, please see Jenni English.

Open Staff Position

We are searching for a Director of Family Ministry (part-time, salaried) to lead our ministries to children, youth, and parents. The job description for this new ministry position is available in the foyer. To apply, please send a resume and a letter of application to Pastor Matt.
