Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Holiday Office Hours
Pastor Matt will be on vacation starting December 26^th and will be back in the office on January 3^rd. Jenni will be on vacation December 26^th and will resume normal office hours the rest of the week.

Christmas Carols by Request
Today we will be taking hymns by request again during our Worship in Singing time. Be sure to have your request and the reason it is special to you ready to share as we lift our voices together. Please check out the slide for songs we sang last week.

There’s Music In The Air!
The Bible Explorers Kids Bible Class will be sharing their HANDBELL number this evening during the 7:00pm Christmas Eve Service. All KBC Kids in Grades 1-3 are welcome and encouraged to participate. Kids need to meet in the Bible Explorer Classroom at 6:45pm for a quick practice.

Read Your Bible in 2024
Get ready to read through your Bible this year! There are two different reading plans for free on the Bible table in the foyer. Stop by and take a plan home with you today.

Recycled Cards for Charity
Please save the fronts of your recycled cards (except for Hallmark, American Greetings and Disney which are unable to be accepted due to copyright laws). New cards (any occasion) with or without envelopes are also being accepted. There will be a box in the foyer labeled “Recycled Cards.” These recycled cards are part of a program to provide teens with life and work skills. For more information, please see Jenni English.

Directory Information Needed
It’s time to update the LEFC Directory for 2024. If you would like added or if you need your current information/picture updated, there will be forms printed to fill out in the foyer or you may click here to update your information online. Snow Removal Signup
Our Facilities Team is looking for a few individuals to help maintain our walkways during the winter months. Are you able to help with removing snow and salting the sidewalks Sunday mornings here at the church this winter? Sign up in the foyer. Questions? See George Leathers.

Red Cross Blood Drive
On Tuesday, January 2^nd, our church will host the Morrisdale Community Blood Drive from 12:30-6:00pm. If you are eligible to donate, consider making an appointment at redcrossblood.org.

Attendance Volunteers
Jenni is still looking for a few more volunteers to help with weekly attendance. It’s super easy and there will be help available if you need it!

Wild Game Dinner – Team Members Needed
We would like to have another Wild Game Dinner next year on March 16^th. Abe Skacel is looking for some people to help him lead this outreach. Talk to Abe soon so that he can gauge interest. And, hunters, save some meat from this year’s harvest to share.
 
Open Staff Position
We are searching for a Director of Family Ministry (part-time, salaried) to lead our ministries to children, youth, and parents. The job description for this new ministry position is available in the foyer. To apply, please send a resume and a letter of application to Pastor Matt.

Church Office
Our church office is open every week, Tuesday – Friday from 9-3. You can reach Jenni in the office by phone (345.6500), or email at churchoffice@lansefree.org. If you would like information to be in next week’s bulletin, please have it in by 1:00pm Thursday. Last minute prayer requests need to be submitted to the office by 9:00am on Friday.

Snack and Yack
There will be no “Snack n’ Yack” meeting on December 24^th. It will resume on December 31^st with leaders Pastor Matt & Donnie Rosie.

Ladies’ Fellowship Hour
There will be no Ladies’ Fellowship Hour on December 27^th. The next meeting will be Wednesday, January 3^rd  at 10:30am.

Join Us at Prayer Meeting
There will be no prayer meeting on December 27^th. The next meeting will be Wednesday, January 3^rd at 7:00pm.

Community Group

Explore the Bible at Home
 Many adults in our church are utilizing the Explore the Bible resources to dig deeper into God’s word. Pick up your free copy of Genesis 1-19  and join as we study this week with Session 4: The First Christmas. The Winter quarter resources are now available in the foyer.

This Week in Kids Bible Class
How do we know that God wants us to know Him? We can know that God wants us to know Him because He has revealed Himself through His Word.  Today, the Little Learners and Bible Explorers will be studying Matthew 28 learning about how God Wants Us to Know Him. Resources for family worship centered on this lesson are available through the link you will receive in “The Family Table” email arriving this afternoon.
