Father’s Day Gifts
On this Father’s Day, we are celebrating all men. Gentlemen, be sure to receive your gift as you exit the auditorium this morning.
Memorial Service for Gloria “Jeanie” Walter
John Walter and his family will be remembering Jeanie’s life on Wednesday July 6th at 12:00pm at LEFC followed by a luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. The Hospitality Team is looking for help with preparing and serving food for the luncheon. Contact Linda Carlson to get involved.
Family Bible Week
Looking for volunteers for FBW. There are many roles that need to be filled. We are looking for classroom helpers, craft helpers, game leader and helpers, drama performer, helpers for set-up, tear down, and garbage removal.
The Hospitality Team is looking for volunteers to help in the kitchen to help prep the food, serve, and clean-up. You can also make desserts/cookies, help precook food (ground beef, pork, pasta) or donate food items. They are also looking for volunteers to go shopping Saturday, July 16th with Linda Carlson to get supplies.
Our FBW Finale will be a Creativity Fair. See Steph Quick about getting involved.
Check out the sign-up sheets in the foyer on the table in front of the bulletin board today.
FBW Art Display
Inspired to create art that reflects a biblical teaching or a Bible story? We will be displaying any art created and handed in to our FBW Artistic Director, Mary Beth Moslak from now through Family Bible Week.
FBW Teachers/Helpers Meeting
There will be a short meeting after worship on Sunday June 26th for all of the teachers and classroom helpers for Family Bible Week. See Pastor Matt if you have any questions.
Ark Park Meet n’ Play
Moms and their littles are invited each Wednesday for a time to play outside and have fun together! We’ll meet at the Ark Park at 9:00am or come and go as you please. The church building will be open for restrooms and water, and juice boxes will be provided. Event is cancelled in the event of rain.
Giving Opportunities
Designated giving funds remain open for our deaconess compassion fund to help those in need within our church family, for Ukraine to help ReachGlobal minister to the refugees, and a future pavilion here at the church. Please mark your gifts and drop them in the offering plate.
Explore the Bible at Home
Many adults in our church are utilizing the Explore the Bible resources to dig deeper into God’s word. Pick up your free copy of 1, 2 Kings and join as we continue in our study this week with Session 3: Compromised.
