Missionary Christmas in September

Each year we collect a special offering aimed to bless the missionaries we support and give them some extra money to use in whatever way they like. Donations will be accepted for the next 4 weeks. There are envelopes in the foyer on the resources tables or you can place it in the offering plate marked “Christmas.”

Pastor Matt’s Prayer Retreat

This Tuesday Pastor Matt will be devoting the day to praying for our Lanse Free family. He would love to specifically pray for you and your family’s needs. Please fill out the orange prayer card and drop it in an offering plate on your way out today.

Operation Christmas Child

Our church will once again participate in the OCC Shoebox campaign this year. With school supplies on sale, now is a great time to pick up some items in preparation for packing a shoebox to bless a needy child.

Every Believer Confident

Are you ready to face the challenges to the Christian faith that arise all around us? On September 11th, you can gain the confidence to defend and share your faith confidently. The “Every Believer Confident” conference is coming to First Baptist Church in Clearfield PA. More information can be found in the foyer.

You Matter 5K & 10Mile Ride

The Pregnancy Resource Clinic will be hosting their annual 5k walk/run and 10Mile bicycle ride on Saturday, September 25th. For more information see the flyer on the Community Bulletin Board or visit their website scprc.com.

Explore the Bible at Home

Many adults in our church are utilizing the Explore the Bible resources to dig deeper into God’s word. Today We begin a new study in Explore the Bible: Philippians; Colossians; Philemon Pick up your free copy today and complete Session 1: Joy in Prayer this week.

Follow the Lord in Water Baptism

We are planning a baptism service this Fall. If you would like to learn more about what it means to follow Christ in water baptism, talk to Pastor Matt today. Classes will be set up to meet your scheduling needs.

Our church and our pastor love to pray for you. If you have a need for prayer, you can email us at prayer@lansefree.org. All emails being sent to this address will be seen by Pastor Matt. Please indicate if this is a private request (for Pastor Matt and the Elder Board) or public request for the prayer chain.

A designated giving funds remain open here at church for a future picnic pavilion. Mark your gift “Pavilion” and place it in the offering plate.
