Church Family Pizza Party & Meeting

Join us today after our service for a pizza party! Our hospitality team ordered extra, so if you forgot to sign up, stay anyway. Following our meal, we will have a brief business meeting where we will share some updates on facilities improvement projects (both past and future), vote on a proposal for a preowned copier for the church office, and talk about Fall ministry plans.

Communion

Prepare your hearts as we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper next week during our morning worship gathering at 10:00. Prepackaged communion elements will be available with the worship bulletins for those participating on-campus, whether inside or outside.

Operation Christmas Child

Our church will once again participate in the OCC Shoebox campaign this year. With school supplies on sale, now is a great time to pick up some items in preparation for packing a shoebox to bless a needy child.

New Addresses for LEFC College Students

Be sure to take note of the new addresses for our LEFC college students in today’s bulletin. If your college student is not listed, be sure to get their address to our church office this week.

Every Believer Confident

Are you ready to face the challenges to the Christian faith that arise all around us? On September 11th, you can gain the confidence to defend and share your faith confidently. The “Every Believer Confident” conference is coming to First Baptist Church in Clearfield PA. More information can be found in the foyer.

You Matter 5K & 10Mile Ride

The Pregnancy Resource Clinic will be hosting their annual 5k walk/run and 10Mile bicycle ride on Saturday, September 25th. For more information see the flyer on the Community Bulletin Board or visit their website scprc.com.

Canopies & Coolers

If you lent a cooler or canopy for the Good News Cruise last week, it is in Fellowship Hall and ready for you to pick up. Be sure to grab it today before you leave. Thanks!

Explore the Bible at Home

Many adults in our church are utilizing the Explore the Bible resources to dig deeper into God’s word. This week we finish Explore the Bible: Job; Ecclesiastes. with Session 13: What Is Life About? Pick up your free copy of Explore the Bible: Philippians; Colossians; Philemon and be ready to study at home beginning September 5th. Join us!

Follow the Lord in Water Baptism

We are planning a baptism service this Fall. If you would like to learn more about what it means to follow Christ in water baptism, talk to Pastor Matt today. Classes will be set up to meet your scheduling needs.
