Working for the Lord – 6 September 2015

Labor Day weekend is a good time to start our new sermon series titled “Working For the Lord.” We will see that God cares about our work. Not just what we do, but how we do it and what our attitude is like while performing our work. The Lord is our boss no matter where we work or what we do. This leadership perspective should affect the way we work. 1. Sincerely, 2.Reverently, 3. Whole-heartedly and 4. Expectantly. Christians should be the hardest workers. Not because of the little paycheck we get, but because of the payoff to come when our gracious Lord Jesus starts handing out the eternal bonuses.
