How Much More – 30 November 2014

Last week, we studied the first half of Romans 5 and learned about the incredible blessings of justification: peace, grace, hope, love, salvation, God Himself. In the second half of chapter 5, the apostle Paul tells the story of how it could be so good. How the gospel could be such astonishingly good news for you and me. Paul is trying to explain to us how that HOPE that we talked about last week could be ours forever even though the story of the world had been so bad for so long. Sin started with Adam, but Jesus has come along and not only reversed what Adam did but He’s accomplished how much more! So much more. Because of this we receive: #1. SUPER-OVERFLOWING GRACE. #2. SUPER-EFFECTIVE JUSTIFICATION #3. SUPER-LIVING REIGN.
