The Bad News – 14 September 2014

In the third sermon of our new series, All Roads Lead to Romans, Paul shares some pretty bad news. The bad news is the answer to this question, “Why? Why is the power of God for salvation so necessary?” “Why do we need saving?” “Why do we need the gospel?” In order to fully understand the good news of the Gospel, we must understand the bad news. In these verses we see that the Wrath of God is coming, no one has an excuse and we are asking for it. We are challenged to 1. Swallow Our Medicine, 2. Repent and Call on Others to Repent, and 3. Rejoice in the Gospel.
